Most homes are usually in quite a mess
after the Christmas festivities are all over and so this will take a lot
of pressure off her whilst also pleasing him the process (excuse us if
that sounds sexist but the stats show it's still the case that 85% of
women still do the cleaning around the home). Most cleaners carry all the gear that's
needed, thinking about getting stains out of the carpets and things like
that. One of the things I enjoy most is having the bathroom cleaned from
top to bottom, especially the tiles and mirrors. Yes, the Christmas
cleaning gift voucher is a functional and a not entirely romantic gift,
but it sure does the get the job done. Thus, dare we say it frees up some
spare time for other romantic endeavours.
Another suggestion:
If you don't like the above idea (and yes
we agree it's not exactly inspirational although hugely practical), how
about having a shot at this one: Give a voucher to Hire a Butler for one of
the days between Christmas and New Year. There is often a flat period between the
two festivals and so our suggestion is to inject some personal pampering.
Most butlers are multi tasking these days, not averse to taking on an all
round role. Most of them can cook extremely well and of course they are
masters of service. Although most won't be happy to do the cleaning
they will certainly be willing to help clear up after the festivities. If you do decide on this route, why not ask a
few friends around for a cocktail party. They'll be well impressed.
